Magnetic Levitation

I heard Albert Einstein said if he had 100 years more to live he'd study only on magnetism. I love magnets too especially when they are strong enough to levitate stuff of my interest. This is a new method of POP display I spotted at a Hong Kong show but it would be glorious if it was a charger too. You know? An induction charger that floats the gadgets too.

Visteon is on to something

So I am meeting with a premium audio company called Visteon during CES and they are announcing this above product which is a wireless incar charger during the show. As far as I know this technology involves electromagnets; In short, you'll place your gadget on this thingie and it will charge it wirelessly. I wonder how that would effect gadgets with HDDs in them, like the iPods. I shall ask them when we meet next week.
